This entry is the Blondie series' tribute to the women who supported the World War II effort, each in their own way. Blondie becomes involved with a women's group dedicated to the war effort, leaving her with little time to take care of the kids and house. So Dagwood has to fill in, leaving him with little time to do his job, which irks Mr. Dithers. Listen closely and you'll hear Blondie's maiden name.
