Speaking as a non-Christian. I don't get that impression :-)
However, it does slide home the fact that religion is based on belief, and that belief can differ in interpretation from person to person, from country to country. What scares me is when one division of a religion decides that there's is the true faith and goes out to obliterate the others.(As is happening in Indonesia at the moment)
That is a far worse situation.
