"Thank you so much."
Charlie Chan is up against a murder involving an opium smuggling ring. Somehow it's not as satisfying seeing Chan track down a whole gang rather than just an individual, and there's less than the usual amount of sleuthing in this episode. But Warner Oland, the best actor to play the Chinese detective, has the charisma to make up for the story's weaknesses.
