Charlie Chan At the Race Track (1936)

Rating

[3.5]

Reviews and Comments

"Frequent spanking when young make rear view very familiar."

One of the best of the Chan mysteries, Charlie Chan At the Race Track is shipbound for the first half of the film and at the racetrack for the second. There's some funny business going on with some racehorses that are being shipped from Honolulu to Los Angeles, and a death that appears, at first glance, to be caused by a raging stallion. Charlie Chan (Warner Oland) investigates, with the aid of his number one son, amusingly portrayed by Keye Luke.
