Murkon's Refuge: Getting slaughtered on level 4

My party now includes:

A Human Wizard of level 10

A Human Knight of level 10

A Wind Elf Rogue of level 10

A Rock Elf Knight of level 4

A Troll Knight of level 4

A Wind Elf Sorcerer of level 5

I can manage levels 1, 2 and 3 but level 4 is too much for me to handle. I have only explored about half of the level and twice now over half of my party has been killed. The Gryphons and the Phoenigi are the worst.

What should I do to keep my party alive to progress further? Have more Sorcerers? Try to change one of my Knights into an Assassin or my Wizard or my Sorcerer into a Druid, perhaps?
