I can! Even when we lived in Europe, we celebrated Halloween... our school (an American school, made up mostly of American expatriate families although we had a LOT of people of other nationalities as well) organized a trick-or-treat every year among the families of the school. I'm sure we startled the staid Dutch folk plenty with our odd customs. ;)

Over the years, I've dressed up as all sorts of things... Paddington Bear (my *first* Halloween), a clown, a wizard, a princess, a ballerina, a witch, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (don't ask), a dragon (TEH BETS COSTUME), a fairy, a sorceress...

Then, in recent years - my church does something called the Fall Family Festival on Halloween, and I now help out every year since I'm too old to trick-or-treat. Costumes are optional, but since I love to dress up... :) Over THOSE years I've gone as a Victorian maiden, a clown, and a jester (I love that costume). This year, I bought a 733t renaissance princess dress (that'll double as a Ren Faire costume).
