Wow. Congratulations, wintermute. This is the first post I've seen anywhere *ever* which mentions the Illuminati and yet wasn't gleaned directly from such authoritative sources as pulp fiction, teen movies, urban myth, or what somebody says who coincidentally is selling THRILLING CONSPIRACY SECRETS OF THE SECRET CONSPIRACY WHICH SECRETLY RULES THE WORLD revelations.

The only thing I usually get out of discussions of the Illuminati is that the last thing you probably need to secretly rule the world is *secrecy*, considering that 98% of people are apparently *idiots*.
