> Jack Chick RULES. I mean, he WOULD rule if he wasn't being SERIOUS. My favorite tracts are "Dark Dungeons" (bashing D&D by completely misrepresenting what it's about! How original!), "The Death Cookie" (mostly for the name, but also for it's anti-Catholic theme), "The Visitors" (Mormon bashing at it's finest!) and my new all-time favorite, "Angels?", which seeks to prove that all Rock music is the work of Satan (expressly naming Elvis and the Beatles as agents of Satan) and includes the all-time best rock lyrics EVER, "We're gonna ROCK ROCK ROCK! ROCK with the ROCK!" I swear, the guy is a lunatic.

I have a series of about 15 Jack Chick comic books at home, and they are equally ruling with the rulingness of his tracts. Even *more* ruling, perhaps, because in the first issue the two main characters, who are missionaries, get into a fist fight with KGB agents while smuggling Bibles into godless Communist Russia (or something like that). Plus one of them is a former Black Panther who still has a 'fro. It just doesn't get any better than that, y'all.

After the first spine-tingling, senses-shattering issue, the rest of Chick's comic books tend to be more like really LONG tracts, but they still rule. I think the series is called "The Crusaders" -- maybe it's on his web site; I haven't checked yet.

Iss "we used to poke fun at Chick tracts in seminary" achar
