I'm going to be gone for a few days. I hope all of you night people won't miss me too much. I'm going off to a place where spring is in full swing. The flowers are blooming and the daily highs are well up in the 70's. And gas is still fairly cheap, but not as cheap as it was. I'm going to ride my 52-year-old scooter down Main Street in Cochran, Georgia. And I'll put my 1961 Cushman Highlander in the show (late step-thru class). Then, I'll talk to all those other crazy old coots who collect vintage motor scooters and eat southern cooking and swap parts and tall tales. I have a few 30-year-old Schwinns I might sell and some old printed stuff about Cushmans and Harleys and Stock Car Racing. I have my '78 Honda Express on the truck, mainly because it always starts. In general, I'm going to have a really good time. See you next week.
