What does everyone think about the situation in Iraq? At first I though that it was a scheme to take the heat off Clinton. After all, the impeachment proceedings were coming to a head, and are now post-poned. Then I heard on a press conference that Dec 16 was chosen in back in November to launch a punitive strike. The last thing I want to do is touch off a political debate. What I want to know is does anyone else besides me think that if Saddam isn't *nuetralized*, this whole fracas is for nothing? Remember that the last time we did this, he agreed to allow inspections, and then (surprise!) went back on his word. I do know that China and Russia frown heavily on the strike. Anyone else share my opinions?
