I think penne pasta is stupid.

It's just long enough to make eating it with a spoon darn near impossible. Even if you manage to get it on the spoon it invariably rolls right off again on the way to your mouth, usually at the exact point where it lands on your new white shirt.

Forget about using a fork, too. Penne pasta has way too advanced defense mechanisms for your common fork. Even if you actually manage to spear one of the little devils, it will free itself at the exact same point as if you were using a spoon.

I'm sticking with spaghetti from now on. At least that's manageable.
