I want to drive U.S. Rt. 1 its entire length sometime. Rt. 1 more or less goes along with I-95, but it's an older road, and longer, too, starting at the very tippy top of Maine and, rather than stopping in Miami, continuing down across the Florida Keys, which would be a fantastic climax to a north to south trip on that road. You also get closer to the ocean in Florida than 95 will take you -- Rt. 1 is RIGHT ON the ocean, practically. I followed the two roads down the East Coast on the map not long ago, and I remember there being other advantages to Rt. 1 over 95, but I don't remember them all now.
