> I don't remember what it was called, but I recently saw a movie trailer for a film about an old man who is determined to cross the country on his old beat-up riding mower. It stars Richard Farnsworth. There were numerous shots of him driving down long country roads going about ten miles an hour or so, dragging his trailer full of stuff behind him while other traffic zoomed by going fifty or sixty.

The movie is "The Straight Story," and it is indeed a touching film -- but, yes, the imagery is also supposed to be amusing. I recommend it.
