> Thanx. I've never really played around with message boards before, this one seems like a good place 2 start. Did you get the 'Supreme Dictator for Life' from 'Calvin and Hobbes'? I think he was the 'Great Grandiose Dictator for Life'. Not much difference. Perhaps you have no idea what i'm talking about...

Yes I did, and yes I do. Check "Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons," top of page 28: "This meeting of top-secret club G.R.O.S.S (Get Rid of Slimy girlS) will come to order, Supreme Ruler and Dictator-For-Life Calving presiding!"

I actually have all the non-treasury Calvin and Hobbes books, but this was the one where I knew off hand where GROSS was referenced, so it's the only one I checked. He could of changed it slightly, but I'm pretty sure that's the one.

Oh wait, checked through my collection. See "The Revenge of the Baby-Sat" page 73, which is the start of the series where they form GROSS. Hobbes originally wants to be President, then Calvin decides that since it's his club, he gets to be President. Hobbes then says he'd rather by King and Tyrant, and of course Calvin takes that one instead. But they never really give a clear definition of Calvin's official title.

In "Scientific Progress goes 'Boink'", page 10 Calvin calls himself "Supreme Dictator-For-Life Calvin." Page 161 of "Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat" has Hobbes referring to Calvin as just "Dictator-For-Life Calvin."

I know that's just a small sample, but I think it's pretty clear that I was right. NEVER mess with my knowledge of Calvin and Hobbes.

Step "Don't mention the noodle incident!" hen
