Dilbert vs. Scott Adams

I like Dilbert for its sense of the absurd. I liked the first Scott Adams book, but disliked Dilbert Future. The first book collected a bunch of thoughts and anecdotes that he had been saying in the comic strip for years. The second book was just a bunch of stuff to fill up a second book. When Adams attempts to be witty or profound or, gawd forbid, explain psedo-new-age-visualization-key-to-success, he completely loses my interest.
