Don't get Rose is Rose, only read it a few times, and can't really comment. Dilbert's artwork while shoddy generally, has some real high points. Particularly the way Scott Adams does eyes. Heh heh heh. I like For Better Or For Worse sometimes, sometimes it gets boring. And the Far Side was great as well. It had a very stylized feel to it, which I liked.

I really have very little experience with older comic strips. It's a travesty that I should probably correct someday...

Well.... I don't know about Blondie (I'd rate it a bit lower than "okay," but at least it's not painfully bad ala Family Circus), but I can attest that Peanuts used to be great. I'm of the mind that Schultz really should retire soon...
