I have been reading a book that includes some information about funeral songs. Apparently, the most popular song played at funerals in Britain is "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston.
And, according to crematrium records, songs such as "Wish Me Luck as You Wave me Good bye" and "Happy Days are here Again" are quite popular too.

And that got me thinking; What would I like played at my funeral? It's not something that I generally like to think about, but I think I'd like to have a say in it.

If I have enough money, I'd like to be jettisoned into orbit and burn up about re-entry to David Bowies "Ashes to Ashes"...;-)

I also know that the Titanic song "My Heart Will go on" is very popular, but it's not me.

Oh well, I hope I have plenty of time to think about it...at least another 50 years!
