SOAT was largely planned and coded long before TOA was written. It's more accurate to view TOA as a partial sequel to SOAT, rather than SOAT as a partial prequel. Of course, some of SOAT takes place *after* TOA, so it's even harder to classify it.

Now I understand. I read "SOAT Update-Year 4" back in January, but I didn't understand the coding, so I didn't read any more about it after that. But when I saw this post I clicked on it and skimmed all those monthly updates (with the number of locations so far and stuff-thats what I mean by the coding). I didn't read all the responses to those updates tho. When I got all the way back to the beginning, I realized that it's going to have a secret area like GOA (which I found when I played it for the second time) and its going to be larger than POA. I think I sort of know what SOAT stands for. Sequel Of (something I don't exactly know what yet). The "Sequel" part is because some of it takes place after TOA, and the "Of" part is because the word "Of" is the "O" part of all the "OA" games (GOA(T)-Game of the Ages, POA-Perils of Akumos, TOA-Trail of Anguish).
