Just thought I would post something to make severyone else feel better about themselves. I was exploring in MR. I basically was comfortable at level 8. I starrted to go down and down. Then In the midst of midnight gaming I find my self on level 10 staring at the last city. Cool I said to myself and went in. AHHHHHHHHH - I spent most of my money to heal my spellcasters, and then set off to go back up to a sane level. I got decimated. So I resurected a couple of people and planned to fight one battle at a time and raise some more money. That didn;t work. So I sold all the special stuff I had. and go 3 people resurected. And well I got decimated. So there I am with basically no money, and all dead people. I have to basically start again. And with all the work I did to get my people multi talented and all.
My assassins and rouge all had decent sorcerer spells, and my spell casters had great HP from their times as nights.
Well back to the drawing board
