The local newspaper ran a cover story about a week ago saying that the cleanup at the World Trade Centre had just finished. That made me think; I am completely incapable of comprehending an amount of destruction that would take in excess of eight months to clean up. Not to repair, mind you - simply to clean.

Not really a whole lot of a point, I guess. Just expressing amazement at how much destruction actually took place. Every so often, I guess, things happen that really drive home the fact that it's much easier to do things than to understand them; any man could have caused all that devastation, but how many of us truly realize how huge it was?
