Herding pigeons was an integral part of my job on the ferry until recently (when they moved me to a different boat). At the city end of the ferry route, pigeons fly in through the big sliding doors on one deck, and go around the boat looking for crumbs in between trips. Then, because they have the brains of a pigeon, they invariably make their way to other decks and can't find the door again. I spent a stupid amount of time on pigeon removal, chasing these cretinous panicking flying rats around the boat's interior and trying to direct them back out through the doors.
