> Cynthia, you NAMED your CAR? And I thought that was only done by David Arquette's character in "Never Been Kissed." But seriously, is this some trend that I never heard about? Or is it a non-West-Coast thing? For that matter, why Ruby? I assume your car is red...

My current car almost got named "The Beavermobile" because I bought it on Canada Day and the beaver is our national animal. That didn't stick, for a number of reasons.

Previous cars I have driven included the Visamobile (my dad bought it on Visa) and Arson (that was what would happen to it if the tape deck died again, according to a friend of mine). A lot of my friends' cars had names when I was in high school, too. A bunch of us had this felony theme going: Assassin, Arson, Suicide, and Homicide. Each one had a reason behind its name, and the theme developed after the first two, I think.

In conclusion, I agree that naming cars is insane. But then, who am I to talk? I have a red fish named "Green".

Don "Maybe I should name my green car "Red". I'd go "Ruby", but Cynthia beat me to it" Monkey
