Grishny already explained the concept of Sam's Club, but I wanted to add a little about their hard drive prices.

In December, Sam's had an 80gig hard drive for $219, and it had a $100 rebate on it.

Sadly, they were sold out when I went to pick one up. I haven't ever priced their 20 or 40 gig drives, but Grishny was probaly right on the ~$60 price.
