Yeah, if you can eat it all. If you can't, then it goes icky, and the guilt sets in. You begin having visions of those starving children in China that your mom always told you about when she wanted you to clean your plate at dinner. Unfortunately, sticking the jar outside for the mail carrier with a label reading "Starving Children, c/o China" doesn't quite work - and might even be inadvisable, considering the potential germ colonies that might be breeding within. Wouldn't want the FBI showing up at your door for attempting to mail contagious peanut butter.

Seriously though, that's one reason why I don't always like doing the bulk-buying thing. If it's something with a shelf life longer than mine, fine (although that's kind of gross to begin with). But if it's not... some of it almost inevitably spoils, leaving me with The Guilt. Blah.
