I don't have any advice, but I would like to ask about this "Sam's Club". I know the dollar in Canada isn't worth much, but a 40 GB hard drive around here would cost at least $200, if I remember correctly. That is a 7200 rpm drive, but still... I want a bigger hard drive for my machine, and I keep putting it off because I can't afford it. Of course, I still can't afford it at $30-$60, but when I get a job, I'd rather not spend way more than necessary...
