I'm imagining the possibilities. They look pretty much like the way Metal Gear Solid already *is*, only with the fun of playing it removed.

It's practically a playable movie *anyway*. Watching a movie version would be about as much fun as watching somebody else play through all the bits between the cutscenes. If this is something you'd enjoy, fine, but personally I can't grasp the concept of watching a game-based movie just because you enjoyed playing the original game.
