I think everyone was standing up for mine (a year ago! wow!) but I don't remember a whole lot about it, except walking up and making sure to not trip on the gown.

Yeah it is sad when you have a lot of friends in the class ahead of you like I did. But if you all have email and AIM (or ICQ, I don't remember, which do people here mostly use?) then it's not so bad. I've been through that. :)

And as for you graduating in a year, I definitely know how you feel, I can rememeber very well. There's a song I like, one of the lyrics is the most perfect thing I could ever think of for the situation. "when I leave I don't know what I'm hoping to find / and when I leave I don't know what I'm leaving behind...." The song ("The Analog Kid" by Rush, if you're interested) rocks in other ways too but those two lines just make it one of my top 10 favorite songs.
