> You know, that's basically the position I'm in now. High test scores but not quite so high grades. I know I should be learning from all these people who say they wish they could go back and get higher grades, and I'm trying to do that, but I just can't seem to force myself to do my homework. Anyways, I'm rambling now.

Gah! Don't go into college qualifications. Just hearing you guys talk about it makes my stomach go all butterflyish and my heart beat a million miles an hour. I'm only a junior, and I'm already anxting about whether or not I can get a scholarship to school, even with a 97.2 GPA(cumulative, my quarter grade is higher), National Honor Society, a 1450(I know that's not great, I'm taking it again, maybe in May, maybe in November)on my SAT, 3 or 4 advanced classes, 2 AP courses already and 2 more next year and enough extra curricular activities to kill some people. Of course I still have no community service, which I hear is important and may crucify me on an admissions form. Grumble grumble. And I never won any special awards, I was never called gifted, I never took any tests more than a year ahead of time, and I've never skipped a grade. I'm just a failure when it comes to really hot qualifications in general. If I have ever anxted about anything as much as college, I can't think about it.

But Congratulations Liface! That is really awesome for an eighth grader. I couldn't have done as well... Make sure to take it again in a few years. You're sure to do even better. And take it from me, start doing some community service as soon as you can, if you don't already...

Mel"And I can't choose a college. My counselor yelled at me because I had NO idea what I wanted in a school or where I wanted to go. Sheesh. Why does my future have to be so stressful! Gah! :P"anie
