One of my favorite pasttimes is trying to emulate accents. I don't think I'm too bad at it, but it often takes me a few minutes of talking to really get into one. I imagine that if I ever tried one on someone who was really from there, they'd probably laugh me to scorn.

I don't think I have a favorite accent. They all intrigue me. There seem to be more "versions" of the British accent than any other; I imagine it depends on what part of England you live in. Irish and Scottish are really neat too, aye laddie. The German accent has always fascinated me, although I tend to associate it with WWII era Nazis...too much Indy Jones and Colonel Klink, I guess. Australian is awesome. Japanese/Chinese is fun. Indian is probably the hardest one for me to emulate. Spanish/Mexican/Hispanic is probably the easiest, most likely because it's the one I've heard the most of in my lifetime.
