It's gorgeous outside at night, in all different types of weather: in fog, it's thick, and mysterious; and when it's clear, it's..er...clear, and crisp; and when it's moonlit, it's all shining, and sparkly; and etc. I just love it. And it's usually cool, or cold, except in the summer, when it's just perfect, because it's not too hot or too cold, but just right, and it's a little humid...ahhh. I love the night! And as you say, it's poetic. And romantic. And mysterious. And special, because I don't really know that many people who DO like it more.

But even on a more practical level, the night holds so much more than the day. Being a Brit, the night is the best time to be on the internet if I want to see American friends. It also makes me feel slightly special to know that I'm enjoying something that happens every day, yet most people seem to prefer sleeping through.

Thanks. I don't know since when or how I suddenly have a "way with words", because usually I am the most tongue-tied typer (tongue twister in itself right there) alive. And there's definitely a lot more reasons why the night is cool. One of these is that my parents are in bed, so I can do whatever I want online (not that I ever do anything they wouldn't like, I'm a good little girl, honestly) without being bothered or told to get offline.
And of course you liking the night too doesn't ruin it! If you didn't like the night, Tubba, and always went to bed, we'd never see you, and THEN where would we be?? ^_^
Another thing about the night is it is so much quieter than the day, because most people are asleep or at least at home. There's less traffic, both on the road and in the air, which seems to make up the most noise, and no people yelling or anything. Stillness, too. Calm. Quiet.
Ahhh.
