I actually (speaking, of course, from a distant perspective) quite like Al Gore. He seems to me to be a more reliable and trustworthy person than his main opponent.

And I don't believe he's a compulsive liar. It's a difficult thing to believe when most of the alleged evidence is coming from people with a vested interest in making him look bad. It's easy to exaggerate honest misunderstandings when you're trying to blacken someone's name -- and there's no guarantee that Gore is the only liar in this campaign...
