The one thing about the abortion issue (which I do not believe is the most important issue in the election), is that it always is split by party lines: Pro-Choice on the Democratic side, Pro-Life on the Republican side.

What's odd is when listening to the presidential debates, it's clear to me that Bush is on the Pro-Life side because that's what he honestly believes in; the only reason why Gore is on the Pro-Choice side is because that appeals to Pro-Choice Republicans and women's interest/empowerment groups.

Oh, and last night I saw an interview with Ralph Nader on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show", of all places. He had two interesting comments that sums up how I feel about Bush and Gore. "Bush is basically a corporation running for president, disguised as a human." He then told an ancedote about Gore eating an ice cream cone and was asked if chocolate chip was his favorite color. Apparently, Gore paused for several minutes, as if he was trying to remember what his focus groups told him. "As if he wouldn't want to alienate the Pistachio swing voters."
