I'd have to agree, except for the "by far" bit. The Original Series was genuinely good sometimes, and IABBBBM-good at others. Deep Space Nine journeyed too far from Trek for my comfort, I don't really like the characters all that much, and they harped too much on the Bajoran-Cardassian issue. Voyager is fun, but they've done too much with the Kromaggs or whatever those ugly aliens with dreadlocks are called, and I'm not much for Chakotay's spirit guide sequences. And then, of course, there was the animated series, which I've never seen and therefore cannot comment on it, other than it sounds silly.
