Road To Morocco (1942)

Reviews and Comments

For the third Road picture, Bob Hope accidentally blows up the ship he and his pal Bing Crosby are sailing on, and they find themselves wandering through Morocco to work their way back to civilization. Crosby sells Hope as a slave for some quick cash, and the story goes from there. As always, there are improvised gags and fourth wall breaches galore.

Watch for the scene where a camel spits in Bob Hope's face. It wasn't planned -- it was a fluke that happened while the cameras were rolling. It, along with Bing Crosby's hilarious reaction, was so funny they decided to keep it in the movie.
