Sinbad Comic

Join Sinbad and his merry men as they embark on a dubiously-conceived quest to foil a dubiously-conceived but probably evil plot by the evil vizier Jaffar! Sinbad Comic is a screen-cap comic based on the incredible, incomparable, and inexplicable 1989 Lou Ferrigno film, Sinbad of the Seven Seas.

Sinbad Comic is currently on hiatus but will eventually return for the fifth and final season.

Well, 7 months later means I should probably update. I obviously missed spring, which I should have predicted. Life got in the way for a bit, but I've been back at it for a little while now and have built my momentum back up. I won't give another prediction, but I'm hard at work and excited about how it's shaping up.

Update: I've got 20 comics done for the new season. That probably isn't quite half way but getting there. We're probably looking at spring for a start date.

Working on Sinbad Comic again. It's taking me a little time to get my head back into where I was going with this thing, but I'm gradually setting up shop again, so to speak. My intention is to spend the next few months writing out the final season for a 2022 roll-out.

Still nothing solid on a start date for season 5, but I've been dipping my toe back in the water by making up a bunch of pre-season ads that I'll run on the main page when I've locked down a date again. So far they've been a lot of fun to put together. You can see the pre-season ads for previous seasons in the "Extras" tab.

I should update here. Obviously I didn't get to season 5 in 2019. It's difficult to carve out the time for this sort of thing. While I can't make any promises on when I get to it, I still certainly have every intention of completing this strip with one more season. Stay tuned!

Afraid so! I'm taking what I hope will not be a terribly long break and will aim to run the fifth and final season in 2019.

It was fun being able to work up to and execute a proper season conclusion again, which wraps up a segment of the story and has the proper cliffhangers/lead-ins to the next. Season 2 kind of did that, but season 1 ended arbitrarily, and season 3 ended unexpectedly.

Not sure how long the last season will wind up, but just doing a simple calculation on the running time of the movie and where I am in it, there are probably another 40-50 strips left.

Perfect!! I did always think Jaffar looks more terrified than angry in a lot of these scenes...
