It's refreshing to see someone willing to define "entitled." I was beginning to wonder what it means. So many people think it is a dirty word.
I think I am entitled. I worked my posterier off for a lot of years getting myself entitled to a living income in my old age. I payed into the system when my wages were so low, deductions from my check were deductions in the amount of food I had to eat. I worked 33 years as a teacher and another 8 or ten at other jobs. When I was teaching I paid f.i.c.a., income tax, and Tennessee teacher retirement, which was my contribution to getting myself entitled. I also had the option of paying into some retirement accounts, which I did for the last 20 years or so. Howard
