I make no claims to being an old-time expert, unless it counts that I speak a few languages which haven't been much use to anyone for a thousand years or so, and probably know more about what happened in ancient history than I do about current world events. The only thing I'm an expert in is duct tape, or so they tell me.

*sigh* the joys of duct tape. on bike trip, we used duct tape for everything. duct tape together your shoes. duct tape together your bike. duct tape on helmets. duct tape bracelets (although in all fairness, those were made after the trip). i've had my experiences since bike trip, too... at a party i had a couple of weeks ago, one of my friends ended up getting wrapped in duct tape. he could hardly move...

uni"eek, i left my duct tape bracelet in pennsylvania"peg
