I think I'm a sort of relatively-newish-but-not-so-new-as-some-people-bie. I make no claims to being an old-time expert, unless it counts that I speak a few languages which haven't been much use to anyone for a thousand years or so, and probably know more about what happened in ancient history than I do about current world events. The only thing I'm an expert in is duct tape, or so they tell me.
