My poor old heart...

Well,
While I was going to the local doctor's office to get a stubborn wart frozen off my finger (I hate those) I told the doctor about these chest pains I've been having for the past, oh, 5 years. They're kind of rare occasions, but from time to time I get them frequently. They last for about a minute, and during that time I can't really move or breathe or anything because it hurts a lot worse. I dismissed these as normal growing pains, but I felt it best to let a medical professional give their opinion.

Well, long story short(but not actually short), they hooked me up to an EKG machine (I think that's what it's called), and they redid the procedure a few times to get proper readings. Well, one of the lines that was printed out was very high and squiggly, so I assumed that was bad. So, the doctor said something was abnormal, to get my chest X-rayed, and to see a cardiologist. She wasn't sure what it was, but she suggested some kind of disease that's hard to pronounce, or some bacterial infection, which may be treated with some antibiotics.

Anyway, I'm waiting for the doctor to call, she's going to tell me what place to go to get my chest X-rayed today. If I'm lucky I'll miss school! :-P Of course, that's really the least of my worries now.

All this seems weird in a 14-year-old boy... So anyway, all of you continue to keep me in your thoughts!! I love you guys!
