> Thanks so much! Well, my X-ray results came back today, and they haven't found anything out of the ordinary. They think that it may just be that I have a thin chest wall, because I'm so skinny. That's what they think screwed up the readings on the EKG scan. To me, being skinny is kind of a blessing, because I get to eat at McDonald's all the time!! Of course, then you get thin chest walls. I'm going to go see a cardiologist around may 19th to have them check me out, to be sure. > > -z"Now I have to mow the lawn again....yay..."K
Those little doctor's office scares are a real bummer, but it sounds like you are probably OK. Yes, you are a little young for heart trouble, but it happens, so keep after it. At my age, 72, you expect those things. I have a doctor who is always testing me for something. One time he was convinced that I had Parkinson's disease, but when he sent me to a specialist, she said no. He checks my heart all the time but never finds any problems in that department. He did manage to diagnose mild diabetes.
I have been poked and prodded, inspected with Xrays, ultrasound, and scary looking instruments of all kinds, and most of it finds nothing wrong. But you don't want a doctor who doesn't check and double check.
I went out and walked three miles today. Doctor's orders. I'm going to do what ever he says and see if I can outlive him. I guess he might be 40. Howard
