Weird words

My Zorak query in a thread below made me think about this. Does anyone else have any favourite words, brand names, place names or whatever that you always think sound like names for a science fiction or fantasy character?

My ultimate favourite would have to be the fabric brand Gore-Tex. As Dave Barry pointed out in some book or other that I remember reading, Gore-Tex just has to be the leader of an evil reptilian alien invasion force. Then there's Amex, which to me always sounds like an annoyingly cute robot similar to the one from Buck Rogers.

I think the head-cold medicine Sudafed sounds like the name of a galactic empire, maybe shortened from something like the Sudarian Federation. Alaska is so obviously a beautiful alien princess. And I can never hear the words Yom Kippur without thinking of a barbarian hero in big furry boots and studded leather Speedos.
