I'm feeling much better, thank you. The stitches come out in a few weeks. In the meantime, it is NOT all your fault, it's MY fault. In order to prevent this kind of incident in the future, I've lowered my expectations considerably, and expect to be happily married to a slug by this time next year. Slugs don't use bathmats.
