There have been times, when I have just stood transfixed by the way the rain changes ordinary things, transporting an evening or morning into something so strange, so alien and so beautful I almost cannot breath. I love rain... how it hazes edges, darkening and everything is slick and clean, swaying slightly in dim wind.

I've always liked rain. I like it when it has big fat raindrops and it smacks against the green overhang outside the house we lived in until recently. It bugs me when people who complain about the heat and dryness every day of the year try to escape the rain. Whenever it rains, I go outside and play and jump in puddles. It's fun. I wish I knew where I could go where it's rainy AND warm.
