I have read (and LOVE) all the Unfortunate Events book that are out now (and waiting for 12 and 13!) and I must say that I loved the movie. I think they did a really good job of getting the important plot points of the three books into one movie. They messed with the sequence of events a bit, and I think they tried too hard to make the ending "happy" but those are the only quibles I have with the movie.
