Sorta-kinda. Most of us know each other only through the chat and forum, although a number have met in person and come back intact.

No intrusion at all, though I may point out that LJ has a few significant differences, such as choosing who may start "threads" on your Friends page and who may see your posts. There's none of that here, although the owner gets exclusive power to remove any posts and prevent whomever from posting for whatever reason. But don't let that worry you. Most of his targets have been those "Make $$$ fast in our perfectly legal messageboard posting scheme! We promise it's not a scam!" scams, lately. Unless I'm just missing all the other varieties of forum annoyance.

Hmm. Basically, the "separation" means that the government can't tell you what beliefs you may legally hold and express, or, for the most part, how you practice it. (I say "for the most part" because if your religion involves things like murder or pedophilia, that's a different story.)

The also means that members of government are permitted to express religious beliefs, though they may do so at their political peril.

I imagine so. Of course, part of that's because a significant number of people think the First Amendment means webmasters are not allowed to moderate their own websites. But that's another story.
