Really, I think the distinction there is mainly in English, not
physics. The equation for angular velocity (insert undercase
omega here) doesn't really care if you are part of a rigid
structure or not, and if you think about it, what difference is
there between something being levitated off the ground and a
low-altitude geosynchronous satellite?

Of course, I could be very mistaken here, as I am still but a lowly
freshman in college, only now learning such powerful things as
rotational physics. Perhaps the powerful gremlinn will correct my
humble errors.
