I think you are generally correct. When I get to the point in a project where I am not really sure of my ability to finish it correctly, I tend to put it aside with the intent of doing more research.

But I never expect to run out of something to do.

And yes, there are discractions. We travel a lot, and a project out of sight is a project out of mind.

I also agree that attention disorders are not likely to be adult onset disorders. I was like this as a kid, and when I was teaching, I saw it every day in every class.

Heck, I even agree that human error can be fun. When I get lost, I always think of it as a chance to see new places.

But I'm still worried about those unfinished projects.
