Well, you have to be careful about this kinda thing. Sometimes reluctance to finish a project stems from the inner-most fear of not getting it done perfectly. Or running out of things to do. If it's because of distraction, then it may very well be AADD.

...Or doctors are playing off of people's insecurities. I say they should stop trying to fix the world with medicine, we are all different for different reasons. If there is *actually* a psychological reason that prohibits someone from completing a task, then getting at the root of a problem is the key.

And most people are born with ADD, so I don't rightly know how an adult can just acquire it... (perhaps you've had it all along, and it was never really a big problem O.o ) But don't worry! Human error makes life fun! ^___^
