The knife is for defensive purposes only; it's all about the
footwork to get Jean-Claude to leave you an opening.

After you've gone a few rounds with him, you'll notice when he's
about to lunge. Naturally, you step in to block his attack, right?

Wouldn't it throw him off a bit if you stepped BACK? :)
