First you need to get back to the initial state of the fight (knife, spray in hand, and J-C in a neutral position, not off balance in any way). Then it's three quick moves to victory. Hint: you need to use both of the aforementioned items and also avoid the impulse to pick one of them up immediately after dropping it.

The flow chart for this fight is surprisingly small. I don't remember the exact number off hand, but I think there are only about 6 or 7 states you can be in. There are just lots of ways for you to mess up the correct three move sequence and have to scratch your way back to the starting position. Also, you can tell which state you're in at any point in time just by the items you have in hand and how J-C is described in the area description.
